Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using kentstudiotz.com or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms. KentStudioTZ is operated from Golden Jubilee Towers, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. These terms govern all services including web development, branding, Google Business Profile management, digital marketing, and digital product sales.

2. Services & Delivery

  • Project timelines are estimates. We deliver as close to quoted timelines as possible.
  • Projects require your active participation (providing content, feedback, approvals).
  • Delays caused by late client feedback will extend the timeline accordingly.
  • We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Payments

  • 50% deposit is required before work begins on service projects.
  • Remaining balance is due upon project completion and your approval.
  • For orders under TZS 500,000 — full payment is required upfront.
  • Digital product purchases are charged in full at time of purchase.
  • Accepted methods: M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, bank transfer, Stripe (international).
  • All prices are in TZS unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4. Refund Policy

See our detailed Refund Policy page. In summary:

  • Full refund if work has not yet started.
  • Pro-rated refund based on work completed if project is in progress.
  • Digital products: refund within 7 days if the product has not been downloaded.
  • We always aim for 100% client satisfaction before discussing refunds.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, you own all deliverables created specifically for your project (logos, designs, website code).
  • We retain ownership of our proprietary tools, frameworks, and reusable components.
  • Digital marketplace products are licensed, not sold. See individual product licenses for usage rights.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive license to display the work in our portfolio.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely information, content, and feedback.
  • Ensure content you provide does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Maintain security of your account credentials.
  • Use our services and products lawfully.

7. Limitation of Liability

KentStudioTZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through arbitration in Dar es Salaam.
